From The Mission Field

The Apostolic House of Prayer has long been a supporter of  God's missionaries around the world. Through prayer and financial offerings, we help to further God's work in over 20 locations in Europe, Africa, South America, North America, and Asia. Click the  Ministries tab above for the individual Missionaries we support.

Missionary Daniel E. Barber is a man with a passion for souls, and for over 25 years has worked tirelessly, along with his wife, Edneia, in Brazil and surrounding countries. He has built, often with his own hands, over 70 churches as well as centers for children and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. In spreading the gospel, Missionary Barber has passed out hundreds of thousands of tracts to individuals and to supply churches. Many have been brought to Christ through his efforts. In 2018, 1.030 people in the Brail area were baptized in 'Jesus Name' and filled with the Holy Ghost. Thus far this year, 328 have been baptized.

Over the years, Brother Barber has expanded his work to Bolivia, Peru, Columbia, and Uruguay. In these areas, well over 1,000 souls have been baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. Praise God!

Missionary Barber's fruit-bearing efforts, however, have come with great costs. He and his family have suffered government persecutions, strict laws, extreme difficulty in reaching people in remote rural areas, and lack of usable vehicles. These needs are ever growing, but God is able to supply them. But, we also must continue our support, as members of the Body of Christ.
